Although recognised as an innovative company, Tratos is acutely aware of the accumulated knowledge that standards encapsulate and uses this to change how we work to the advantage of our customers with both existing and emerging technologies. At Tratos, we take our responsibilities seriously. Ensuring compliance with standards is one of the keystones that we use to prove our commitment to our customers and our attitude of doing things correctly.
As an international manufacturer of cables, Tratos maintains an up-to-date library of Customer Specifications and national and international cable standards. Tratos is a member of both the British Cables Association (BCA) and Italian Cables Association (ANIE/AICE), the trade associations for manufacturers of insulated electric and fibre optic cables, wires and accessories. Tratos is also a member of Europacable (EPC), the European trade association for insulated electric and fibre optic cables, wires and their accessories. Through these trade associations, Tratos receives early information on a range of key developments covering Standards. Tratos engineers actively participate and contribute to various National and International technical committees covering electric cables, their design, manufacture and testing.
