TITLE: Specification CW1852 for Cable Optical Fibre 260 – Blown – External – Singlemode Non-pressurised

SCOPE: This cable is designed for installation into a sub-duct by the use of air blowing techniques.

Its prime requirement is for installation over an existing cable present in the same sub-duct. This method of installation is known as “overblowing”.

This cable shall be of loose tube construction containing 72 to 144 singlemode fibres within a non-pressurised black polyethylene sheath.

This cables is for use in transmission systems operating over the wavelength range 1260nm to 1625nm.
