TITLE: Specification CW1854 for Cable Optical Fibre 800 – Air Blown – Ribbon – Singlemode

SCOPE: This range of cables is designed for installation into sub-duct by the use of air blown techniques. In some circumstances the cables may be installed short distances by the use of direct pulling techniques with a rope.

The fibres in these cables are of ribbon construction containing 144 to 864 singlemode fibres within a non-pressurised black polyethylene sheath.

These cables are for use in transmission systems operating over the wavelength range 1260nm to 1650nm.
