Fixed trackside power cables include High voltage and Medium voltage cables supplying power to substations and switchgear, Track Feeder cable and OLE cable. Fixed trackside communication and signalling cables including Data & Telecommunications (copper & fibre optic) as well as Signalling Power & Control cables. APPLICATIONS

Tratos supplied Frecciarossa; the Italian Railways’ “Alta Velocità” (High-Speed Train)project, and, thanks to Tratos’ fire-resistant fibre optic cable, the ‘Rome-Naples’ high-speed train was inaugurated on schedule. Years of investment and endeavour have led to the development of this cable; which has met Italferr and IMQ standards.
