Microcables Cables

Even with the maximum number of fibres included, Tratos Microcables remain flexible and are easy to bend (the recommended minimum bending radius is only 15 x outer diameter) and lightweight enough for air-blown installation into very small ducts or sub ducts using Tratos Microduct products. It requires fewer joints in installation, providing reduced frictional resistance when passed through ducting. Ideal for installations where duct space is at a premium, it has the added benefit of being easy to handle and install. Tratos Microcables provide a simple, neat and commercially viable solution to upgrading a network at a later date as additional fibre is simply installed as and when needed.
Tratos Microcable can be used in operating temperatures of -30°C / +60ºC.
THE NEW LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT – Microcables – compact and light but packing enhanced high-fibre density in the smallest diameter on the market.
AIRBLOWN INSTALLATION – Lightweight and flexible enough for air-blown installation into the smallest ducts.
SMOOTH INSTALLATION – A smooth outer sheath and fewer joints in installation means reduced frictional resistance when passing through ducting.
All internal cables supplied by Tratos are compliant with Construction Products Regulation 305/2011. Cables are available from Tratos to meet a minimum CPR reaction to fire performance of Cca s1b d1 a2.
